Gürkan Bülbül is an architecture studio working at the intersection of computational design, structural optimisation and sustainable building performance — developing concept architecture for clients across Europe, the Gulf and Asia.

01 — Studio

Technology transfer, applied to architecture.

An architect-engineer partnership built to challenge conventions with new tools, not just new forms.

Founded on the partnership of architect-engineers Barbaros Sağdıç and Gürkan Bülbül, the studio treats every commission as a research problem before it becomes a building. We use digital analysis, parametric modelling and AI-assisted iteration to customise structure to load — doing more with less material, less waste, less embodied carbon.

Our in-house BIM and simulation teams carry each concept from first massing study through to construction-ready documentation, working alongside 3D-printed prototyping and IPAD LiDAR site capture to keep design and built reality in constant dialogue.

Based in Istanbul and working internationally, the studio has delivered concept and design development on five-star hospitality, high-end residential and mixed-use work across three continents.
